A bridgebuilder is a person who attempts to or opposing parties.

Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.

-2 Corinthians 5:17-18

God through Christ offers us reconciliation to Himself by not counting our sins against us. And now he has entrusted us with this message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors and God is making his appeal through us. We speak on his behalf when we say, “Be reconciled to God”.

The next day John was there again and two of his disciples were with him. As Jesus walked by, John looked at him and declared, “Look! There is the Lamb of God!” When the two disciples heard him say this, they followed Jesus.

Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, was one of these men who heard what John said and then followed Jesus. The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon Peter and tell him, “We have found the Messiah” (that is, the Christ).

Can anything good come from there?” Nathanael asked. “Come and see for yourself,” Philip replied.
