All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

-2 Timothy 3:16

3. The accuracy is surprising.

God rules from above the sphere of the earth…

-Isaiah 40:22

God stretches the northern sky over empty space and hangs the earth on nothing.

-Job 26:7

From generation to generation, every male child must be circumcised on the eighth day after his birth.

-Genesis 17:12

1. In this message Gilbert shared 5 reasons we can trust the authors of the bible. Which one impacted you the most? Why?

2. Throughout the series we’ve looked at the 4 ways to test eyewitness. Were they present? Can what they are saying being corroborated by other evidence? Has the story remained consistent, or has it been changing? Are they free of bias or ulterior motive?  Have each of these questions been answered for you when it comes to the writings of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John?

3. If you have concluded that yes the authors are reliable historical accounts of the resurrection of Jesus, what implications does that have for your life? Why do you now need to take the words of Jesus seriously?

4. What is the next step God is asking you to take as a result of this message?
