Internal corroboration is something that cannot possibly be known you were .

External corroboration is any piece of evidence that the of an eyewitness’s testimony.

The Gospels are internally corroborated because the authors write about , , , , and that only an eyewitness could have known.

Your Notes on External Corroboration:

The Gospels are externally corroborated through both the written testimony of ancient and often writers and through the many discoveries made throughout the years.

1. Can you think of some examples from your life where you’ve seen internal corroboration, external corroboration or both? Perhaps at your school, work or home?

2. In this message Gilbert focused on both the internal and external corroboration for the Gospels. What did you learn in this message? Did anything surprise you? Was the case made that “yes” the Gospels are corroborated?
