Message

O God, there are two things I ask of you; please don’t deny me of them before I die. First, keep deception and lies far from me. Second, give me neither poverty nor riches, but only just enough to satisfy my needs. For if I grow rich, I may deny you and say, “Who is the LORD?” And if I am too poor, I may steal and thus insult God’s holy name.

-Proverbs 30:7-9

For we are God’s masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.

-Ephesians 2:10

God has given each one of us a special gift through the generosity of Christ… Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and the teachers.

-Ephesians 4:7, 11
