One day as Jesus was walking along the shore of the Sea of Galilee…

-Mark 1:16

Love is patient…

-1 Corinthians 13:4

If love is patient that means that and are incompatible.

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

-1 Peter 5:8

Act like people with good sense and not like fools. These are evil times, so make every minute count.

-Ephesians 5:15-16

Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

-Matthew 11:28-30

Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of
grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.

2. What on your calendar/daily or weekly routine needs to be eliminated or greatly reduced? How will you do? When will you do that? Who can hold you accountable?

3. Re-read Matthew 11:28-30. What is the Spirit speaking to you in these verses?

4. What is your next step as a result of this message?
