This Week’s Experience – 6/12/2022 Message notes Leave this field blankWhen Jesus saw the crowds, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were greatly stressed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.-Matthew 9:36I'm burdened with sorrow and feel like giving up…I hurt with the hurt of my people. I mourn and am overcome with grief.-Jeremiah 8:18, 21The time will come when people will not listen to sound doctrine, but will follow their own desires and will collect for themselves more and more teachers who will tell them what they are itching to hear.-2 Timothy 4:3God’s greatest in my life will come from God’s in my life.Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance and perseverance must finish it’s work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking for anything.-James 1:2-4You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.-Matthew 7:13-14On the day of judgment many will call me their Lord. They will say, "We preached in your name, and in your name we forced out demons and worked many miracles. Then I will tell them clearly, “I never really knew you, depart from me you evil doers.”-Matthew 7:22-23Then Jesus said to his disciples, “The potential harvest is so great, but the workers are few.”-Matthew 9:37Christ has shown me that what I once thought was valuable is worthless. Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ.-Philippians 3:7-8LIFE APPLICATIONTo discuss during the week with your family or Life Group1.
