He has always been a murderer and a liar. There is nothing truthful about him. He speaks on his own, and everything he says is a lie. Not only is he a liar himself, but he is also the father of all lies.

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

Obey your leaders and do what they say. They are watching over you, and they must answer to God. So don't make them sad as they do their work. Make them happy. Otherwise, they won't be able to help you at all.

1. In what ways do the “noises” of this world distract you from hearing the voice of God speaking to you? Are you now
seeing how this is Satan trying to distract you from the fullness of life Jesus promised?

2. Of the 5 ways to hear Jesus speak to you that Gilbert talked about, which one(s) has He used in the past with you?  Which one(s) do you need to be more in tune with? How will you do that?
