Message notes

“I think everybody should get rich and famous and do everything they dreamed of so they can see that it's not the answer.”

-Jim Carrey

Jesus must become more important, while I become less important.

-John 3:30

1. Who am I honestly ?

We are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”

-2 Corinthians 5:20

Ambassador: The highest-ranking representative sent from one nation to another nation to represent the interests of the sending nation.

Create a clean heart in me, O God, and renew a right attitude within me.

-Psalm 51:10

2. Whose matters most to me?

We speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts.

-1 Thessalonians 2:4

Jesus has called me to be , not to be .

Not to us, LORD, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.

-Psalm 115:1
