Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through. There was a man there named Zacchaeus. He was the chief tax collector in the region, and he had become very rich. He wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he could not see over the crowd.

So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree beside the road, for Jesus was going to pass that way. As Jesus arrived under the tree He looked up and said, “Zacchaeus, hurry up and get down from there! I want to go to your home and be your guest.”

Zacchaeus quickly climbed down and took Jesus to his house in great excitement and joy. But the people were displeased.  “He has gone to be the guest of a notorious sinner,” they grumbled.

4. How does it make you feel knowing that not only does God know your name but He knows the name of even your worst enemy?
