And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. You fathers—if your children ask for a fish, do you give them a snake instead? Or if they ask for an egg, do you give them a scorpion? Of course not! So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.

I am a special messenger from Christ Jesus to you Gentiles. I bring you the Good News so that I might present you as an acceptable offering to God, made holy by the Holy Spirit.

Holy: To be for God’s plans and God’s purposes.

1. The Holy Spirit me.

2. The Holy Spirit me.

You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.

There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all.

-1 Corinthians 12:4

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

-2 Timothy 1:7

3. The Holy Spirit me.

The Holy Spirit will come and help you, because the Father will send the Spirit to take my place. The Spirit will teach you everything and will remind you of what I said while I was with you.

-John 14:26

When the Holy Spirit comes, He will guide you into all truth.

-John 16:13

Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

-2 Corinthians 5:17

My Prayer:

Father, I’m asking you to have your Spirit sanctify me, making me whole and holy.

May the Spirit empower me beyond my natural ability so I can reveal Jesus to those around me.

Father, we ask this with confidence because this is a prayer you always answer.
