1. Koinonia (community) is not an I’m allowed to as a follower of Jesus.

Let us be concerned for one another, to help one another to show love and to do good. We should not stop gathering together with other believers, as some of you are doing. Instead, we must continue to encourage each other even more as we see The Day approaching.

 -Hebrews 10:24-25

2. In koinonia (community) I will discover that people are  .

Accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.

 -Romans 15:7

3.  In koinonia (community) authenticity and are non-negotiable.

Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.

 -James 5:16

Until I am fully , I can’t be fully .

4. In koinonia (community) I will discover .

1. What did you learn about hope based on the story of the Chilean miners?  How did this change before and after they found out they’d be rescued?

2. At the time Hebrews was written what would be some reasons the believers stopped meeting together? What are some reasons people use today?

3. How does accepting one another as Paul mentions in Romans 15:7 bring glory to God?

4. What keeps you from sharing your secrets with other Christians you are close to?

5. What is your next step as a result of this message?
